Does your back-office system support automated scheduled reports?
Whether it’s a CRM, an online task manager, web browser, or word processor; there are always hidden features buried within the software that can make our lives easier. Sometimes these overlooked features can provide tremendous benefit.
If you are not leveraging one of our native automations, partner automations, or Zaper automations, to get your contacts into LoyaltyLoop, we have a tip that might help. Many back-office systems have built-in capabilities to generate a report, automatically run it on a schedule, and have it emailed. Check to see if your software provides this capability, in total or in part.
If it is capable, our team can help you create the correct LoyaltyLoop report, schedule it to run daily, and have it emailed to your LoyaltyLoop account using your Launch File Email Address. If your system supports this type of report, it’s the next best thing to using one of our API integrations. Even if your system doesn’t support the emailing of reports, having the reports generated automatically on a schedule, will give you what you need to quickly drag & drop it into your LoyaltyLoop Launch Pad.
Here’s a great example. One of the most popular pieces of software for small businesses is Quickbooks Online (or QBO). QBO has this exact type of automation. When you customize and save a “Transaction List by Customer” report, you can then set it to run on a schedule, and email it on that schedule. While slightly different, even Quickbooks Desktop has this type of automation.
If you’re not using Quickbooks, it’s still possible you have this type of automation. Check with the support team of the software you use to manage your sales, and they may be able to help you find and use native functionality to accomplish the same thing. If your software doesn’t have such a feature, double-check with third-party automation services like Zapier or IFTTT.
Remember, automation can increase your efficiency and productivity by reducing manual labor and human error. Furthermore, it can help businesses stay competitive by reducing costs, and freeing up employees’ time allowing them to focus on more strategic and creative tasks.
